Adjune, Adjone, Adjoin, v. (Usually adiune, etc.) Also: adion, adjown; adioyn(e. [ME. ajoyne, ajoine (c 1350), later adjoin, OF. ajoin- stem of ajoindre, L. adjungere. The usual Sc. spellings indicate the pronunc. with ui, with later adoption of the Eng. form.]
