Heichnes, Heighnes(s, n. Also: hech-, (heih-), heych-, hiech-, hiegh-, hyech-, (hyeth-); hegh-, heygh-. [Northern ME. heghnesse (c 1340), early hehnesse, OE. héahnes.] Highness.
