Out-tane, Outane, p.p., prep. and conj. Also: out(t)an, outetane, owttane; out-taine, -tayne; (oittane); owtane. [North. ME. out-tan(e (Cursor M.), vte-tane, oute-tane (c 1450), owtane (York Plays), p.p. of Out-tak v. passing into prep. and conj.Like the equivalent Out-tak, Out-takand and Out-takin, not found after c 1520.]
