Panȝell, -yhell, -yeal, n. [sc. var. of Panȝeour.] A pannier, large basket; ? esp. one of the sort carried (usu. in pairs) by pack-animals. Also comb. with -crele. —1436 Exchequer Rolls IV. 683.
