Patri(c)kmes, -mas(s, n. [Patrick, the proper name, and Mes n.1] The feast of St. Patrick, 17th March.Like Lukismes, which falls seven months later, chiefly or only used in the west and south-west.In Dumbarton, the date of one of the annual fairs. Also attrib.(1) 1485 Lennox Mun. 126.
