Praising, Praysing, -yng, Prasing, -yng, vbl. n.1 [ME preysynge (c 1330), preising, ME (c 1330) and e.m.E. praysing, praising.] The act of praising or an instance of this; laudation. Also plur. — c1520-c1535 Nisbet 2 Cor. viii 18.
A bruther, quhais praising is in the gospell be al kirkis Id. Rom. ii 29, etc. c 1570 Facs. Nat. MSS. III lxvi.
As to your great prasyng gevin to me in your letre —plur. 1513 Doug. i Prol. 1.
Lawd, honour, praysyngis [v.r. prasingis], thankis infynyte c1520-c1535 Nisbet Ep. Ald Test. xv 9.
