(Quheling, Queling,) Quheil(l)in(g, Wheeling, Queilling, n. [a. f. Quhel(e, and common in the later dial. as wheelin(g; b. ? var. of Tweling vbl. n. (twilling), with change of initial cons. cluster as in Quine n.2] a. ‘A coarse thick type of worsted yarn’ (SND, s.v.
