Rig(g)et, n. Also: -at; -art, -ert; reget. (North. e.m.E. (1559) ryget, rigolde (1584), altered forms of e.m.E. ridgell (1597) an animal which has been imperfectly castrated, or whose genital organs are not properly developed; a rig.
