Stemming, Stamyn(g, n. Also: stemmyng, -ying, -yne, -ene, -ein, steming, -yng, -en, -eme, stemeing, stemnyn, staming, -eine, stoemeing, stenning, -yng, stenyng, -yne, stenneyn, steinyng, stannyng, -yne, staining. Also apparently erroneous form: themine. [ME and e.m.E. stamin (Ancr. R.), stamyn (Chaucer) a coarse garment; stamyn (Prompt.
