Triumph(e, tryumph(e, v. Also: trumphe. P.t. also triumfit, triomphit. P.p. also trywmphit, tryhumphit, triumphe. [e.m.E. tryumphe (Caxton), triumphe (Coverdale), F. triompher (OF triumpher), L. triumphāre.] intr.
1. To rejoice, exult, be elated.a1500 Henr. Age & Yowth 70 (Bann.).
