Colpindach, -doch, n. Also: colpyndouch, colpnoch(e; copindach, capindocht. [Obscurely related to Gael. colpach a cow-calf, heifer. See also Cowpendoch.] A young cow, a heifer; a young ox. ? a 1040 Acts I. 347/2.
