Cose, Cois, v. [Of obscure origin. In e.m.E. as coase (1580), and possibly related to ME. and e.m.E. corse, course. Cf. Coss v.]
1. tr. To exchange; to give or get in exchange.(a) 1456 Wemyss Chart. 74.
