Greif, Gref(e, v. Also: greff, greyff. [Variant of Greve v.; cf. Northern ME. greif (14th c., rare) and ME. gref (c 1430).]
1. tr. To hurt or harm. = Greve v. 1 and 1 b. a1400 Leg. S. xxx. 3.
