Grew-hound, -hund, n. Also: greuhound, grwhund. [ME. grewhounde (a 1400), var. of ME. greund, grehund, greyhound.] A greyhound. (See also Grew-.)(a) 14.. Acts I. 326/2.
Gif a greuhund be fundyn rynnande in the forest c1420 Wynt. vi. 1860.
