Lauch, adv. Also: lauche, lawch(e, lawiche, lauyche. [f. Laucha. See also Leauch(e. Cf. Lach, Laich and Law.] In or to a low position or situation; also fig. = Laich adv. in various senses. c1420 Wynt. v. 2305.
