Passit, Past, p.p.¹ and ppl. a. Also: passait, paist. [ME. and e.m.E. passed (Cursor M.), ypased (south., 1340), past(e (14th c.).]

1. pred. Past, gone by; at an end.Chiefly of an inanimate subject. Also, of a person: Dead.Also, passit and gane or ago, id.Passit in age, advanced in years.Cf. Pas v. 5.(1) 1456 Hay I. 287/17.
