Peroffer, v. Also: -offr(e, -offir, -offyr, -afer. [OF. paroffrir (14th c. in Wartburg), peroffrir, earlier purofrir (1080 in Godef.), poroffrir: cf. Proffer v.Appar. only Sc., and chiefly in early (15th c.) texts.]

1. tr. To offer or tender (something, appar. usu. material) (to a person or const. dat. pron.). = Proffer v. 1.1375 Barb. xx. 340.
