Thwang(e, Thwayng, Thawynge, n. Also: thuang, twange, twhang, twaynge. [ME and e.m.E. þuong (c1200), þong, þwong, þwang (all Layamon), thuang (Cursor M.), thong (1465), OE þwang, þwǫng.] = Quhang(e n. a thong. c1420 Wynt. viii 4803 (C).
