Praising, Praysing, -yng, Prasing, -yng, vbl. n.¹ [ME preysynge (c 1330), preising, ME (c 1330) and e.m.E. praysing, praising.] The act of praising or an instance of this; laudation. Also plur. — c1520-c1535 Nisbet 2 Cor. viii 18.
A bruther, quhais praising is in the gospell be al kirkis Id. Rom. ii 29, etc. c 1570 Facs. Nat. MSS. III lxvi.
