Samin, -yn, adv. Also: -yne, -yng, -en, sammyn(e, -ing. [ME samenn (Orm), samen (c1250), samun (Cursor M.), sammen (c1400), samne (1435); also somen, -yn, -un (c1230–1420); OE *samen, sǫmen, OFris. samin, etc., OS, ON saman. Also ME and e.m.E. in samyn (Cursor M.), in same (a1522), cf. Ysamyn adv.]Only in verse, chiefly early. The common rhyme word is Gamin n.
