Ganȝe, Gainȝe, Genȝe, n. Also: ganȝhe, -ȝie, ganeȝe; gaynȝhe, genȝie, geinȝie, gengȝie. [Ir. and Sc. Gael. gainne.] An arrow or (crossbow) bolt. Also fig.(a) c1420 Wynt. viii. 5505.
