Alswa, Alsua, adv. Also: allswa, -sua; alsswa, -sua; alsway, alsuay. [ME. (latterly northern) al swa (al sway), ONhb. allsuá (allsuǽ), OE. (WS.) eall swá even so. The sense of ‘in addition’ also occurs in ME. before 1400. See All adv. and Swa adv.] Even so; in the same way; in addition, further, also.(a) a1400 Leg. S. Prol. 118.
