BRELKY, Brolki, adj. and n.
1. adj. “Of a person — short and stout, thick, lumpy” (Ork. 1929 Marw.).
2. n. “A blunt, rough person” (Sh. 1908 Jak. (1928), brolki).
[Jak. is disposed to derive this from *bi-rylki., Fær. rutkur, a bundle, lump, knot. Cf., however, Norw. brolsk, adj., stout, heavy and powerful (Torp).]
