CEULER, Kuiller, n. A small tub without handles (Ork. 1929 Marw., kuiller). [′kølər]Ork. 1911 J. Firth in Old-Lore Misc., Ork., Sh., etc. IV. I. 24:
In heavy rains precautions were taken to keep the beds dry. Small tubs called ceulers, tin pails, or wooden buckets, were placed on the roofs of the beds.
