CRUM KNIFE, n.comb. The knife used by coopers for trimming roughly the edges of the groove at the ends of barrel staves (Bch. 1947 (per Abd.27)). Also crumming-knife (Uls. 1880 W. H. Patterson Gl. Ant. and Dwn.).
