FEESP, Fi(e)sp, v. [fi:sp]
1. To move smartly, to fuss (Sh. 1866 Edm. Gl., 1914 Angus Gl., fiesp; Sh.10 1951). Ppl.adj. feespin “lively, vivacious” (Ib.).
2. “To trip lightly and nimbly but feebly about” (Sh. 1908 Jak. (1928), fisp; Sh.11 1951). Ppl.adj. fiespin, fispen, able to move about, “light and nimble, but feeble” (Jak.), “in a moderate state of health” (Sh. 1866 Edm. Gl., 1914 Angus Gl., fiespin; Sh.10 1951).
