HAND-HABBLE, adv. Quickly, without premeditation. Also shortened form haund-hab.Rxb. 1825 Jam.:
Business that is done quickly, summarily, without any previous plan, or without loss of time, is said to be done hand-habble. It often includes the idea of something haughty or imperious in the mode of acting.
Ayr. 1879 R. Adamson Lays 129:
An' no drive on at sic a rate Doon life's broad road haund-hab.
