KITPOCK, n. Also kitpoke; kitback (Ork. 1902 E.D.D.). The stomach of a fish (Ork. 1929 Marw.), esp. of a cod (Ork. 1922 J. Firth Reminisc. 152); fig., a large pocket or pouch, gen. worn under the apron, and tied round the waist with tape (Ork. 1960). [′kɪt-pɔk]
