WHIGGLE, v., n. [ʍɪgl]

I. v. To trifle (Fif. 1825 Jam.); “to work in a listless, heartless manner; to idle about” (Cld. 1882 Jam.).

II. n. A trifle, trinket, gew-gaw, “a term used to denote anything that ministers more to conceit than utility” (Fif. 1825 Jam.).
