WHULLUP, v. Also whollup. To wheedle, fawn, curry favour, as by making small gifts (Rxb. 1808 Jam.).
[Appar. a deriv. of whully, Whilly, v., of somewhat uncertain formation. Jam. suggests a contraction of whully up.]
