Blithly, Blythly, adv. Also: blithlie, blaithly; blythlye, -lie, blythely, blyithlie; blychtly. [ME. blithli, -ly, early bliðeliche, OE. Blíðelice, ON. Blíðliga.] In a blithe manner or spirit; gladly, happily.(a) 1375 Barb. vi. 388.
