Contempnandly, -lie, adv. Also: contemptnand-; contempnantl(i)e. [f. the pres. p. of Contempne v. Cf. Contemnandlie.] Contemptuously, scornfully. (Very common in 16th c.)(a) 1471 Acts Lords Auditors 14/1.
