Lafe, Laif, n.2 Also: laf, -ff(e; lauf; laeff(e; laif(f)e, layf(e, -ff(e; lef; leif(e, -ff, leyff; leaf, leawff. [Var. of Lave n. (OE. láf).] The remainder, the rest.
1. Absol. a. The remaining persons or animals, or things, of the group or class specified or implied in the context; the others, all the others.(1) 1375 Barb. viii. 507.
