Mind, n. Also: minde, mynd(e, myend, meinde, maynde, meand, mend, myn(e. [ME. mynde, minde, also (midl. and south.) y-), i-)munde, OE. ᵹemynd fem. (also neut.).]

1. Memory.a. (A person's) memory, remembrance, recollection.In numerous phrases with verbs, constituting the equivalents of verbs of remembering, recalling or reminding, as to cum, rin etc. to (one's) mind, to have in mind, call to mind, bring to mind, have mind on or of something, that something is so, or absol., put (another) in mind of (= remind him of), etc. Out of (one's) mind, forgotten.(1) c1460 Wisd.
