Dede, Deid, a. Also: ded, deide, deyd(e, deed, daid. [ME. deed, ded(e, early dæd, dead, OE. déad.]

1. Of men or animals: Dead, no longer alive. Dede body, a corpse. (See also Corps and Cors.)(a) 1375 Barb. xiv. 302.
