Dedenȝe, Deden(e, v.1 Also: dedenȝhe, -deinȝe, -deynȝe. [Normal Sc. variants of dedeyne, Dedeigne v. The addition of the prefix may have been due to some confusion with dedeyne, etc., early ME. variants of disdeyne. Cf. Dedenȝe v.2]
