Dittay, Ditta, n. Also: dyttay, ditay, dittae, dettay; ditté, dittie, ditty. [OF. ditté, dité, with normal Sc. -a, -ay for original .]

1. A statement of the charge or charges against an accused person; an indictment.(a) 14.. Acts I. 341/1.
