Ilk, adj.1 Also: ikke, ylk(e. [ME. ilk(e, ylk(e, OE. ilca m., ilce f. and n.] Same.
1. This, that, the ilk, the same, the very same (person, thing, etc., already mentioned, or about to be specified). a. With the demonstratives. b. With the article.a. 1375 Barb. i. 512.
