Ony-thing, pron. and adv. Also: onye-, onie-, onné- and -thinge, -thyng. [ME. (Chaucer) and e.m.E. (Caxton) ony-thyng, ME. (c 1400) and e.m.E. anything, ME. eny-thinge etc., OE. ǽniᵹ þing.]
Anything, in applications of Ony a. 1 and 2. (= Ocht.) a. pron.(1) 1375 Barb. v. 50 (E).
