Triumphal(l, Tryumphall, adj. Also: triumphale, tryumphale, trywmphale. [Late ME and e.m.E. tryumphal (Lydgate), triumphal (1495), OF triumphal, L. triumphālis.]

1. Of, associated with or pertaining to a triumph or victory, or the victor; betokening or celebrating victory. Also in fig. context. a1500 Henr. Fab. 1475.
