Commoun, Common, adj. Also: commoune, -own(e, comoun(e, -owne; com(m)un(e, commwn; commone, comon(e, quomon; com(m)ound, commond; cowmoune, -mon(e, -man(e. [ME. commoun(e, -own(e, -on(e, etc., early commun, comun, OF. comun, L. commūnis.]
