FLUISE, v. Also fluze, flouse, flaze. To roughen, to make a burr on the edge of a tool, the point of a nail, to blunt, fray (Gall. 1825 Jam., flouse, fluze; Sc. 1880 Jam., flaze; Kcb.1 1934). Also flazen (Kcb. 1934). [fløz; fle:z]Kcb.4 c.1900:
