KREPPO, n. [′krɛpo]

1. An oatmeal bannock baked with fish livers as fat, freq. attrib. in comb. kreppo foals, id. (Ork. 1929 Marw., Ork. 1960). Cf. Crappen, Fole.

2. In phr. in a kreppo, huddled together (Marw.)Ork. 1929 Marw.:
He was gaan a' in a kreppo.
