NULLS, n.pl. A kind of game (Sh. 1866 Edm. Gl.), not further described. Edm. associates with Null, and the game may possibly be some form of noughts and crosses. It is however possible that the word is a corruption of Knurl, n., 3. and refers to the game there described.
