SIGG, n. Also sig; sugg (Ork. 1929 Marw.). A hard piece of skin, a callus (Sh. 1866 Edm. Gl., 1908 Jak. (1928), 1914 Angus Gl., Sh. 1970), also fig. a lean tough piece of meat (Jak.).
