ST TAMMAS. Also St Thomas. A local nickname for Arbroath in Angus, of which the patron saint is St Thomas à Becket (Ags. 1875 G. Hay Arbroath 21, 1909 P. C. Carragher Arbroath 26, 1928 H. Lauder Roamin' 49).
