I. n. Any long ugly thing, also a tall uncomely person (Bnff. 1866 Gregor D. Bnff. 198), a feeble, feckless person (Rnf. 1837 Crawfurd MSS. XI. 304).
II. v. To walk in a loose slovenly manner (Bnff. 1866 Gregor D. Bnff. 198). Hence vbl.n., ppl.adj. tringalan, -in (Id.).
III. adv. With a slovenly gait (Id.).
