Bonet, Bonat, n. Also: bonett, -ete, bonnet(t, -it; bonat (-ath), bonnat; bannate, -et, -ot(t. [ME. bonet (14th c.), bonette, e.m.E. bonnet, OF. bonet, bonnet, of uncertain origin.]
