Lufing, vbl. n. Also: luff-, luiff-, and -yng. [ME. (north.) lufing (14th c.). Cf. Luving.] The action of Lufe v.1: Loving, love (in the general or the amorous sense). a1400 Leg. S. xxx. 156.
