Melteth, n. Also: mail(l)-, meal- and -tethe, -tetht, -taith, -teithe, tith(e, -tet, -teit, -tit, -tat. [Sc. varr. of Meltyd(e n.: cf. late ON. máltíð (Da. maaltid). Also in the mod. dial. as meltith, -te(i)th, -taith, meltit, -et, mealtate.]
